Forum “Architecture & Nature� Moscow, 9th-17th of October 2010
Considering climate changes, ecological and energy crises, increased need for ecologically sustainable urban development, it is necessary to work out special approach towards architecture and urban planning; the one that will be directed to the city and separate buildings as composite interactive systems, interrelated and forming symbiosis with natural surroundings.

Sustainable development is not a steady state of harmony, but rather a process, where natural resources exploitation, investment flow, orientation of scientific and technical development, personality shaping and institutional changes are interconnected and strengthen present and future potential to satisfy human demands and aspirations.
Forum “Architecture & Nature” Moscow, 9-17 October 2010
Forum “ARCHITECTURE AND NATURE” is supported by UAR, UMA, Moscomarchitecture, UIA, IAA, Council on ecologically sustainable architecture of UAR, Moscow Municipal Duma and Council of Moscow Northern administrative district. The objective of the present long-term extensive project is to learn ways to develop architecture, urban public and green spaces with the aim to work out an effective methodology of creating architectural urban area that will be qualitative, ecologically sustainable and convenient for people. Key architects, urban planners, and professors of architectural Universities, representatives of international organizations and councils expressed a desire to participate in the project. As a result of the Forum it will be released a CD-disk and a collection of articles using the materials of performances, works of participants to distribute among architects in educational purposes, as well as the public. Forum “ARCHITECTURE AND NATURE” is organized by Youth Association of UAR, Information agency of UAR and UMA “Architect”, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.
