R-360 It has been the most recognizable design made by Różański. It has been the socalled icon of the Polish design. In 1956, it was presented for the first time at the trade event in Poznan and went into small batch production. Janusz Rózanski was born in Poznań, 1921. In 1957, he graduated from the Interior Design Faculty at PWSSP, Poznań. Just one year after his graduation, he started to work at the Furniture Industry Union where he got promoted to the head of the studio at the Construction and Design Company (PPKPM). In 1965, he became the head officer at the architectural studio in the newly opened National Center for Furniture Developement (called OBROM since 1971), where he was managing a group of designers from Poznań. His intention was to solve housing problems through introducing into batch production some innovative paterns, constructions, and furniture finishing. Janusz Różański was a versatile and magnificent artist. He was a multiple winner of discipline-specific competitions. Additionally, he was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit. Through his entire life, he was affiliated with Poznan where he passed away at the age of 93.
Armchair R-1378 This armchair was designed in 1962 and it has never entered batch production. It is manufactured from ash and upholstered with soft woolen fabric. Compact size, minimalistic shape and interesting colors contribute to its timelessness. Size: W: 59 cm I H: 76 cm I D: 66 cm
Couchtisch R-1378 It constitutes a functional and complementary set back to an armchair. This coffee table is manufactured from ash - its legs are fully made from wood while its top and tray are veneered. The final product is finished with high-end wax oil, which protects wood as well as brings out its natural matt colour. Sliding and movable tray is both functional and practical.
