The Clé de Peau Beauté Guards Ladies Charity Polo Final; Guards Polo Club; Saturday 28 August Luxurious Ladies Charity Final
This was the first year of sponsorship for Clé de Peau Beauté at Guards Polo Club’s Ladies Charity Polo Tournament. Seven teams had entered this year’s competition, with UAE Polo securing the title, while Nipas-ESP took the Subsidiary Final. All the players headed home with some gifts, including Clé de Peau Beauté’s iconic anti-ageing night cream La Crème and complimentary facial treatments in the Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Suite, Harrods, Knightsbridge. The luxury skincare and makeup brand chose UNICEF UK as the beneficiary on finals day, raising several thousand pounds through various fundraising opportunities including a live auction in the Clubhouse.

Talacrest Prince of Wales’s Championship Cup Final; Guards Polo Club; Sunday 22 August Park Place Prevail
This year saw Talacrest sponsor the inaugural Prince of Wales Championships, Guards Polo Club’s second 22 goal Final of the season. Those who hadn’t yet made the annual migration down to Sotogrande turned out to enjoy some rare English summer sun and watch Andrey Borodin’s Park Place and Alessandro Bazzoni’s Monterosso go head-to-head for the winning spot and the prestige of being the first team to add their name to the trophy. Guests included Pete Webb from Talacrest’s record breaking team of 1998, plus young professional Jack Hyde.
