A Note from the Performing Arts Department
What I love best about our instrumental concerts is that they provide us a moment to delve into the complexities that each instrument adds, while allowing the whole sound to wash over us, without the need for lyrics. Our instrumentalists, from Grades 7 through 12, have meticulously practiced each note to be able to share with you tonight’s collection of musical pieces. I encourage you to pay attention to the emotions each piece evokes and appreciate our students as they showcase their technical skills.
Please join me in congratulating them on their performances.

Note About Our Pianos
This year the Performing Arts Department received a gift on behalf of The Anderson-Lopez Family in gratitude for their time at Poly Prep, allowing us to outfit our music spaces with five new pianos, including the beautiful Fazioli in our Chapel tonight. We thank them for their generosity and commitment to furthering music education at Poly Prep.
