01 natural forces
the expanded site is divided with cincinnati’s mill creek and the vegetation surrounding it.
02 site forces + early transportation early transportation and building is clearly influenced by paths dictated by mill creek.
03 urban grid
later development, further from mill creek, conforms to an urban grid rather than the natural forces that drove early development
site as ‘buffer’
situated between the organic and linear, planning + the built environment aims to fuse these two distinct languages.

gr af f i t i temporal
co r te n s te e l permanence
due to its adjacency to railyards and cross cultural/counter culture community, camp washington is a commonplace for local and continential (train yards) graffiti.

[panelization]
In life drawing - each object is oriented and measured according to others. These relationships are best undestand, analyzed and measuring according to the [Cartesian Grid].
[standard rectangle in perspective]
rectangular panels recede in space, with the overall device perimeter and panel seams converging on a common vanishing point.
[foreshortening]
both dimensions physically match, but not visually
[cartesian grid mapped in space] a means to nullify perspective and percieve the Cartesian grid as equal quadrants in space
[trapezoid]
device morphs into a trapezoid that is perceived as a rectangle in conjunction with binocular human vision. physcial dimensions do not match, but are visually equal.
