PROPOSED PANAROMIC RESORT The CLUB HOUSE is an addition to the already proposed Panaromic resort at Karnala. The client wanted an additional seggregated area which could be utilized for special parties. The Club house includes the banquet hall, restaurant and club, WITH a separate entry to itself. The concept for the design was GRASS RIBBONS. Just like the panaromic hotel sits nestled within nature; the club house extends out into the nature by VIRTUE OF these ribbons. The surrounding lanscaping morphes into the roof of the structures.

fusion of planes
The main aim of the academy is to provide training in the Indian Classical Dance & Western Dance, thus allowing one to benefit from another. The same concept has been incorporated in the design of the academy, where one can see the fusion of one plane into another. The buildings are different blocks but merged into one, to form a common core. These planes are randomly organized, much so like movement itself, WHICH is free and liberal. The fusion is also seen in the landscaping of the building. The landscaping breaks and seeps into the building, forming an essential part of the design.

The Institutional block consists of two buildings intersecting each other at different levels. The blocks are kept integrated by an axis that is maintained throughout. The walls are aligned along the direction of the wind, such that, they create sleeves within the building, for better ventilation. Also, they prevent the corridors from becoming long and monotonous. The Institutional block includes two main academic buildings, connected to the administration and library. The Academy INCLUDES a National Centre for Performing arts that serves as a forum for revelation of talents concerning the Performing arts. The academy also provides for hostel and visitor accomadation. The main recreational area - The canteen is placed at the secluded part of the site with a beautiful view of the water body.

CLUSTER HOUSING AT FANASWADI, MUMBAI, INDIA
Plot no 10. at Fanaswadi under the C-Ward, is just another example of one of the many locations in Mumbai plagued with the problem of over-population. With buildings haphazardly built and people occupying every square inch of land, the aim of the project was to provide for vertical development to ease the congestion on land. The commercial area faces the road as the main essence of Fanaswadi lies in its busy roads and streets. The units constitute of 3 blocks each of different area specifications. They are placed on the three sides of the plot with a central recreational area.

SECTION AA’ The WATSON HOTEL located in the Kala Ghoda district of South Mumbai is one of the oldest surviving cast-iron structures and the first pre-fabricated structure to be built in India. Situated in the heart of Mumbai, it was considered to be one of the finest Luxury hotels in India. Over the course of time, due to negligence by it’s owners, conservationists and people in general, the building has reached a deplorable, decaying condition. The aim of the project was to preserve the historic fabric of the building and redesign it as a centre for MARG - An Indian Arts Magazine.

PEDESTRIAN WALKWAYS IN THE CITY, MUMBAI
The Aim of the competition was to return the city to its primary users - the people on the street, by the creation of inclusive and barrier free urban environments, that can be rich and fulfilling. MAIN STATION PLATFORM
The site is located at SENAPATI BAPAT MARG which is home to many malls, showrooms and local shops and thus, has a high density of pedestrians. The concept for the design is SEMI - LOOP i.e. a loop that travels from one point to another. Thus the body of the subway is shaped in the form of rings. The undulating body (roof) of the subway attempts to break the monotony of the linear buildings around. SITE PLAN

THE INK WRAP AND ROLL The aim of the project was to design an innovative option for an ink bottle, to replace the traditional rectangular box. The container functions as a roll and the bottle can be used by rolling the box out. The presence of PROTECTION at the base ensures that the bottle sits firmly. On rolling, the interior displays 3 arrows indicating the level of ink, for the users aid.
