Metal panels realized with superior industrial solutions and elevated structural resistance. Easyfit System FIP and Giugiaro Design have designed and developed VE Easyfit, the last product evolution in the thermoplastic ball valve manufacturing technology. VE Easyfit is the innovative true union gear ball valve introducing an advanced method of installation for a long trouble free service. The principle of the bevel gear pair has been applied to design the Easyfit mechanism that controls the rotation of the union nuts during the valve installation. Thanks to the reducing ratio of the torque, the valve union nuts are easily and safely tightened or un-tightened without over stressing the threaded components of the valves and the pipeline jointing fittings. The Easyfit mechanism can be very useful in a wide range of pipeline layout, especially in narrow spaces, because the stem of the valve is the pivot of the bevel gearing. The Easytorque wrench or the valve multifunctional handle are the power driving tools to be placed on the stem axis and used to turn the union nuts. Easytorque wrench is recommended whenever the tightening torque of the union nut must be set and recorded in order to prevent distortion of

the elastomeric seals and to reduce the mechanical stress of the plastic threads. The use of the multifunctional handle is the best solution to carry out maintenance operations in narrow spaces with limited access to the valve location but it is always recommended to grant a gradual compression of O’ring seals and to avoid non specific tools causing union nut damaging or fluid leakage.

VE Easyfit ball valve VEE has been specifically designed for water applications; its locked ball seat carrier with adjustment system allows a safe operations on the pipeline.In the closed position, the pipeline can be disconnected downstream from the valve without any leakage. VE Easyfit ball valve has been designed through the stress and strain analysis (FEM) and is made of PVC-U K62 resin employing the most up to date injection moulding technology. The valve can withstand working pressure up to 16 bar at 20 °C according to ISO 9393 International Standards and complies the European Directives 97/23/CE for pressure equipments PED, certified by the Pascal Institute (1115).

Installation and overall dimensions are in accordance with the requirements of ISO 7508 “Series III” International Standards and EN 1452 “ Short” European Standards.

Easyfit Large Bore range FIP has extended Easyfit ball valve line with the new VEE Large Bore. The range VEE DN65-100 further evolves the Easyfit system by applying innovative concepts to the valve handle. The new mechanism is based on the quick release of the multifunctional handle that is composed by a central hub fixedly coupled to the valve stem and by a double spoke grip that can be released from the hub with a simple operation to carry out the ball seat carrier adjustment.

Sunnyday Sunnyday is an uncovered solar panel produced by Janus Energy, in extruded copolymer polypropylene, distributed in Italy and abroad. Sunnyday, devoid of glass and thermic insulation, is used for heating bathroom water (35-40°C) and in covered (28 °C) and uncovered. pools (25 °C). There are many positive characteristics to the Sunnyday panels. It is lightweight (2,17 kg/ m2), and has an elevated firmness of material (it holds 3 bars at 80°C) that is also completely recyclable and non-toxic: because of these peculiarities Sunnyday is suitable for food use and does not need a heat exchanger. The Sunnyday panels can be installed in a brief time anywhere (at the maximum in a day for the system made up of a batch 100m2 of panels) on terraces or in gazebos, invisible from below and made for walking on, or they can be put on roofs or any surface, flat or inclined. They are weather proof (UV resistant and temperature resistant up to 25 degrees below zero). They are also resistant to chemical agents or limestone incrustation. An increased value is Sunnyday’s 10 year guarantee in addition to a life cycle of 20-25 years. The Sunnyday panel, in respect to classic glass solar panels, offers better performance during hot periods and worse one in cold periods. Actually, it is suitable for annual use in

areas with moderate climates and anywhere for seasonal use, like, for example to heat bathroom water in hotels, for camping, tourist resorts and all consumer uses where a lot of hot water is used in the summer and a little or nothing is used in the winter. In addition, its characteristics make it particularly ideal for heating water in indoor pools, allowing optimal savings even in rather cold climates, and outdoor pools where with low cost it gives the possibility to extend the “bathing” period for at least 2 months. The cost of the product alone is around 1/3 in respect to the typical glass panel, in addition the lightness and ease in assembly allows a lower cost in installation of around 50%. Example of the application in central Italy Evaluated in this case is a hotel open seasonally from May to September with a peak consumption, in high season, of around 6000 liters a day of hot water at 40 °C. A system made up of 65 m2 Sunnyday solar panels extended across the terrace of a hotel, connected with pipes of PEHD and two accumulation tanks of an overall 4 m3, assures a savings of 92%, with a cost of realizing it for as little as 15,000 €. A system of solar flat glass panels, rather, provides the same hotel identical energetic performance with the installation of a lesser quantity of solar panels (50m2 rather than 65) but at a cost of more than 40.000 €: an expense that does not lower even if the system is utilized only in the summer.

www.teclumen.it The Teclumen series For each model there are 3 series: FIX COLOR, RF COLOR and DMX COLOR. The FIXED COLOR is the led lamp with one fixed colour (WHITE OR BLUE). This series is made especially for customers that want to make savings and to eliminate the maintenance costs. Thanks to compatibility as well for the electric supply as for the dimensions, it is possible to replace the traditional lamps as well in an existing as a new swimming pool. The other two series, RF COLOR and DMX COLOR, are different for the control system of the colours: as for the RF COLOR, the control of the colours and the colour programs can be done with the help of a remote controller that communicates with a transmitter, connected in parallel to the transformer. It is not possible to personalize colour games and to memorize programs (10 fixed colours and 10 colour programs are available). With the DMX COLOR, the control and the reliability of the lamp are higher: the control signal is separated from the power. In this case the lamps have 5 wires: 2 for the 12V AC power and 3 for the DMX signal. The lamps can be controlled by any type of controller that works with standard DMX512 signal. PAR 56 TK: is completely compatible with the traditional 300W lamp (diameter: 177 mm). Thanks to these characteristics it is possible to install the lamps in existing swimming pools without making any modification to the system.

ngelEye LifeGuard is a safety system specifically designed to supervise the activity of swimmers in the pool. The AngelEye drowning detection system investigates the swimmers’ behaviour, and is able to immediately identify any situation of danger. The underwater video cameras survey the inside of the pool by capturing images which the AngelEye software analyses in real time. The rescue personnel can keep an eye on all the activities at the basin bottom through their monitors. In the event of drowning danger, the AngelEye system activates a vibrating and acoustic signal on the lifeguards’ hand-held devices, thus allowing immediate intervention on the exact spot inside the pool. The implementation of the AngelEye drowning detection system consists, first of all, in a layout design phase, developed according to the pool’s plan, a free-of-charge service delivered by the AngelEye technical staff.
