Solar iCharge Instructions Turn On: Double push on/off button to turn on. Turn Off: Push and hold on/off button for three seconds. Show Battery Power Status: Press the on/off button one time. Four Power LED Indicators: The blue LED lights indicate approximate level of charge in the battery. Four lights reflect a full charge and one LED light represents a low level charge. Charge Indicator Light: When case is receiving charge from the solar panel a circular LED light will illuminate red.

Charging your Solar iCharge Place you Solar iCharge in sunlight or incandescent light to begin taking back the sun. Simple as that! Alternatively, connect the Solar iCharge to a power source using the mini USB cable that was included with your Solar iCharge. The USB cable can be plugged into your computer or any “Made for iPhone” wall-plug style power source with USB out including the standard iPhone USB wall adaptor. To indicate charging the LEDs located on the back of the device will blink. As the Solar iCharge becomes more charged the LEDs will indicate how full it is, with one LED remaining blinking until completely full.

Charging your iPhone 4/4S using your Solar iCharge If your iPhone is drained of power or if you want to extend the battery life of your iPhone, simply slide the iPhone into your Solar iCharge. Make sure that the pin connector is securely inserted into the bottom of the iPhone. When the iPhone recognizes the Solar iCharge, a battery symbol will appear on the screen and you will hear a chirp from the iPhone, this indicates that the iPhone is charging and/or using the power from the Solar iCharge rather than from the

To check the battery status of your Solar iCharge, press the on/off button located on the back of the device. When pressed, the LED lights will illuminate. Four LEDs mean that the Solar iCharge is fully charged, and one LED means that it is almost empty.

Syncing with your computer While connected to the Solar iCharge, you can still sync your iPhone with a computer. Simply connect the included mini USB cable from the Solar iCharge to the computer and sync your iPhone the same as if it was directly connected. To keep your Solar iCharge operating to its fullest potential, make sure to do the following: 1. Keep your Solar iCharge dry and away from moisture and corrosive materials.

2. Do not wash the Solar iCharge with harsh chemicals, soaps or detergents. Just wipe the case with a soft, waterdampened cloth. Wipe the pins gently with a soft, dry cloth.

FAQs What are the best methods for charging my Solar iCharge? The quickest way to deliver a charge to your Solar iCharge case is by using the mini USB connector. The USB is compatible with a wall charger, a car charger or your PC. Expect a full charge to take 4-5 hours depending on the output of the connector adapter. The Solar iCharge will disperse energy into your iPhone in approximately 2-3 hours. FYI: Fast charging your iPhones with output energy currents faster than that can could potentially damage your iPhone.

How long does it take to get a full charge using only solar power with my Solar iCharge? Using the solar panel on the Solar iCharge is highly variable depending on the quality and quantity of the ambient sunlight. In our experience, a full day of bright sunlight will render an iPhone charge of approximately 20-30%. So, a full charge is possible in 3-4 days of solar charging with adequate sunlight. Because of the relatively small surface area of the solar panels, this is the most efficient output that is currently available with solar technology. If solar power is used in conjunction with the USB connector, you will get extensive battery life and functionality with your Solar iCharge. Energy is lost in the charging process and limits the battery performance. This converts to approximately 1900mAh of battery life to your iPhone (with a battery of 1420mAh).In simple, terms you will get 1.33 charges on average. So, it will technically extend your battery by 233%. We can also say that this is the most efficient and powerful battery available on the market for your iPhone. Claims are claims. How will my Solar iCharge case wear over time? It depends. Are you the type to spike your phone when your team scores a touchdown? Or do you polish your phone with a microfiber cloth every night? However you treat your electronics, our case—including the solar panel and battery housing—is extremely robust. In developing the Solar iCharge, several prototypes and sample cases did not pass our quality tests. Our Solar iCharge cases were meant to outlast your iPhones. We also have trade-in programs if you’re really rough on your stuff.

What if I want to use my iPhone while it’s charging?

Do not attempt to replace any part of this battery.

How can I clean and maintain the case?

No problem! The Solar iCharge will continue to charge while you use your iPhone. However, in our experience, running multiple apps simultaneously may cause the charging function to turn off. Simply double push the on/off button to reinitiate the charge function.

What if my Solar iCharge isn’t charging or no longer holds a charge? Our standard warranty is one year from purchase. Your Solar iCharge case should be fully functional well beyond this as we expect it to outlive your iPhone. However, our trade-in program is excellent.
