Porsche New 718 Cayman Exterior Design Precise, not fanciful. Self-assured, not restrained. Low, wide and sleek. The exterior design of the new 718 models ushers in a new era for the Boxster and Cayman with sporty, distinctive edges and clearly defined formal contours. The horizontal geometry of the air intakes makes the front end appear even wider – and lends it added bite. The wings? Unmistakably Porsche. Higher than the front lid, they have been styled to give prominence to the new design of the headlight units, which lay bare their inner workings and incorporate the LED daytime running lights. The side profile emphasises the midengine layout. The wheel arches are large, designed for wheels up to 20 inches in size. One thing is clear: the new 718 models were not intended for the shelter of the garage, but for the pleasure of driving. That’s precisely why the contouring on the doors purposefully directs headwind.
Interior design Intuitive handling, performance-oriented ergonomics, a clean design. The interior of the new 718 models is also fully geared for sporty performance. A strong emphasis on the horizontal gives the new dashboard design of the 718 models a striking appearance. And that’s without sacrificing the excellent ergonomics for which Porsche is renowned: the ascending centre console shortens the reach between the steering wheel and the gear lever/selector, while the clear arrangement of function buttons saves time. Motorsport in pure form: the new sports steering wheel is derived from the 918 Spyder. The optional GT sports steering wheel with its smaller diameter further enhances the cockpit feel.

Porsche New 911 Carrera S Exterior Design The silhouette of the 911 stands for timeless design. But the new 911 also proves how contemporary it is, especially from behind. The rear end is powerfully, clearly and precisely designed. The rear screen appears visually extended and merges, almost seamlessly, into the black tailgate grille. The new, vertical, third brake light is integrated into this. Directly beneath are the seamless light strip, between the three dimensional LED taillights, and the newly designed model logo in Light Silver. The rear apron surrounds the newly designed tailpipes of the exhaust system. The new 911 also appears particularly athletic due to the differently sized wheels at the front and rear. A design that unites traditional and modern. That ensures more dynamism on the road. And causes a sensation for everyone who follows the 911.
Interior design Good design should be pioneering. So should technology. The interior of the new 911 is, therefore, also blazing new trails – in that it reflects old strengths and expands new possibilities. The interior clearly emphasises the horizontal. All relevant operating controls are located, within grasp, to the left and right of the multifunction sports steering wheel. For great operating comfort and therefore full concentration on the road. Directly in view: the instrument cluster with analogue rev counter and two high-resolution 7Ë? displays. They provide all the essential car information on virtual instruments. Right beside this: the high-resolution 10.9Ë? touchscreen display of Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including online navigation.

Porsche Panamera Turbo Exterior Design Does a sporty saloon really have to look like a saloon? Or can it look rather more athletic? With a taut roof line, for example, that displays a sleek and harmonious contour more likely to be associated with a two-seater? The silhouette and proportions of the new Panamera models are more Porsche than ever. Clearly perceived rounded transitions, powerful muscles and a sharpened sports car silhouette emphasise the precision of the new design. The wheelbase is 3 cm longer than that of the predecessor – the shorter overhang at the front and the longer overhang at the rear lend visual dynamism. The more prominent sculpting of the side creates the customary Porsche waistline and sense of lightness.
Interior design The interior has been completely restyled – and nevertheless remains typically Porsche. The centre console ascends towards the front. The dashboard is flat and conspicuously wide. The analogue rev counter is positioned in the middle of the instrument cluster. Also new is the control concept: Porsche Advanced Cockpit. The centre console with Direct Touch Control has a surface in glass look featuring touch-sensitive buttons for direct access to the most important functions. In between: the compact gear selector. A high-resolution 12-inch touchscreen display is integrated into the dashboard. In conjunction with optional four-zone automatic climate control, the passengers in the rear also have a touchscreen display of their own.
