You have a very nice ’garage’-Thank you for malting us feel so very comfortable. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I purchased a 1966 911 that literally spent all of its life in the LA area. In fact, the original owner, John M. Clyman, III first lived in Santa Monica and later moving to Palos Verdes and was a member of the PCA LA region for over 20 years. At the age of 27 he purchased the dark blue 911 and drove it for 8 years around southern California. After that it sat in his garage for close to 40 years and although it was not driven, it was well cared and I was told it was his most exclusive car. Along with the purchase, I was asked if I wanted the collection of Panorama magazines and Porscherama PCA LA regional newsletters. These date back to the 60’s, 70’s and some 80’s and I of course did not wish to see them thrown away. I’ve gone through them and am now looking for a proper home for these PCA LA newsletters. That’s why I contacted you, since I believe they may be of interested to your membership and it would be good to be able to maintain a history of your past region members and activities. John and Diane Clyman appear on page 6 as a participant in a club rally in the April 1969 issue. So I believe they were active members in the club. And the December 1971 newsletter has a great article on club members meeting with Steven McQueen after the movie "LeMans" came out. So ltruly hope you have an opportunity to post some (or all) of these Porscherama newsletters on your website for all to enjoy and preserve a part of Porsche history. I also wish you to please identify John Clyman as the donator of the newsletters. Without his dedication to preserving these newsletters none of us would have an opportunity to look back on the Porsche scene in the City of Angels. Kind regards,
