Interact with your two year old to nurture a love of books. We will learn letters, sounds, new words and self expression through books, fingerplays and creative movement. (Designed for two year olds and younger siblings with their favorite adult.) You are invited to attend one storytime session per week. No registration required.

We can help! On the first Friday in February, take your lunch hour and come in. Bring your resume and we will look it over, especially with regard to proofreading, formatting, and language. Let us catch the errors, rather than a potential employer. If you have questions about your interview attire, you also have the option of wearing or describing that for our review as well. This group of local paper artists has recently opened its membership from handmade paper artists to paper artists in general, including collage artists, calligraphers, printmakers, painters, and so on.
FRAMED: AN ART EXHIBIT BY THE ALTERED SISTERS MEET THE ARTIST RECEPTION
3UNDAY .OVEMBER TH s 0The Altered Sisters take items like books, cards, shoes, frames, etc. that have outlived their purpose and alters them to create art. In the show Framed each artist will feature a well loved book or character and surround it with a repurposed frame. You can be sure that each piece will be a unique interpretation of a favorite.

It takes place in Alaska, a brutal place to homestead, and especially tough for a couple who have never been able to conceive. In a moment of levity during the season’s first snowfall, they build a child out of snow. The next morning the snow child is gone, but they catch sight of an elusive, blonde-haired girl running through the trees. As Jack and Mabel struggle to understand this child who seems to have stepped from the pages of a fairy tale, they come to love her as their own daughter. It increases the probability of reaching our goals without getting derailed or experiencing unplanned negative consequences. In this third part of the series you’ll learn how to set goals using S.M.A.R.T criteria and develop a personal spending plan to meet those goals. Many of our goals are better reached by growing our money; others by saving and preserving it.
