OWN THE NIGHT: MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL READING ROGRAM June 1st – August 11th

CLASSIC SCIENCE FICTION FILM FEST: FORBIDDEN PLANET Thursday, July 19th • 5:30 PM

Teens earn prizes for each week they finish and submit a book into the reading program, “Own the Night”. Participants can submit books of their choice as well as school summer reading requirements. Stay up late, “Own the Night” and read! Starting June 1st, sign up for any of the reading programs online at www.summerfun.portagelibrary.info or visit the Portage District Library for a summer full of good reads! Happy Reading! Join the City of Portage Youth Advisory Committee for a Movie Party in Celery Flats. Lie on the grass, or bring your own lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the classic first ever Harry Potter movie on the big screen! Concessions will be available for purchase. Gates open at 8:30 PM.

TEEN CUPCAKE WARS WORKSHOP Tuesday, June 26th • 7:00 PM Age Group: MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL

Try out your cupcake creativity! Fill and decorate cupcakes, build a display, and set up the perfect cupcake photo op for our online “cookbook.” Registration required.
