CURIOUS KIDS PROGRAMS Our mission is to focus on the whole child and their family by providing a safe and nurturing environment which supports a high quality early childhood education. We encourage each child to observe, question, and explore their environment.
EARLY LEARNING CENTER
The Curious Kid Early Learning Center provides a safe and caring learning environment for children beginning at six weeks of age until they enter elementary school. We are a tuition-based program and offer several options to meet each family’s needs. Curious Kids has a 4 Star Rating through Great Start to Quality, which qualifies us to be considered a KC Ready 4’s Center. The benefit of our participation with KC Ready 4’s is that some families are eligible to receive tuition assistance for their 4 year olds.
Infants, toddler and preschool children alike benefit from the structure of the Creative Curriculum used at Curious Kids. Upon entering our Bright Beacon and Safe Harbor preschools, children are introduced to school-readiness concepts. In addition to the academic exposure, our children learn to play and organize their days, reflect on their activities and problem-solve. They will carry these skills with them as they move on to Kindergarten and their formative years.
SCHOOL AGE CARE During the school year, School Age Care is available at our Milham site for children who attend Haverhill and Central Elementary as well as all middle schools. Busing is provided in cooperation with Portage Public Schools Transportation Department.
