The design brief was to create a light-filled family home with well-defined zones for work and play, including generously-appointed outdoor living overlooking a meticulously landscaped backyard featuring a pool, cabana and lower level retreat.

The corner site provided an opportunity for a wide and substantial façade that combines brick and render, anchored by an imposing stacked stone pier.

The foyer opens to a study with recessed glazing onto a courtyard garden; the extensive family living zone has two walls of bi-fold doors around a covered outdoor room. ■
