Batthouse Skin and structure - stitch and fabric: this is but a re-thinking of the Roman bath house. By the inspiration of needle and thread has a new vision for the basilican bath house been developed. Its exterior is a three-dimensional, rectilinear translation of rippling fabric.

Long Section - The flow and grandeur of the interior bath space mirrors the cathedral-esque exterior form. The cross-stitched truss-columns support not only the floor above, but the spider joists holding the roof in its place.

Student Housing This student housing project is centered around the unit. The unit boasts an array of dynamic, movable surfaces, including the wrap-around living room glazing, which allows the last 4 ft. of the public space to be converted into a balcony. This building is all about interactivity and nature.

Professional Design Work The currently derelict house has ample potential. After working for weeks with engineers and the developer, I propose a design in which the existing house could be given a third story with modern flare, as well as tremendous material updates. By opening up the public space and increasing the uncovered square footage, the house will become more publically activated.

Independent Study In plan, geometric proportions are essential to the programmatic layout of a villa. The extent to which proportions and symmetry are retain varies. In Section, the convergence between building and landscape are significantly displayed. In elevation, modularity and symmetry are the coordinating factors regarding placement of apertures and finistration.

Single Family This manor capitalizes on the technological leverage provided by modern construction techniques to promote a “warmer atmosphere. The foundation and floor slabs are organized into numerous tiers, which reconcile the vertical ascent from front-toback of the site. These multiple tiers maximize the square footage receiving direct sunlight.
Plans - Ground Level, Second, Third 37

In this single section, the house can be fully understood. The multi-tiered slabs flow with the rise of the terrain, and the glass surfaces support the infiltration of light despite being crammed between existing homes.

Multi-Scale Urban Design 3 Buildings, 3 parks, 1 master plan. Trifecta Park is the westside threshold development of a master plan for connecting central Atlanta’s parks via a connective fabric called the Atlanta Greenway. The Greenway not only bridges the isolated park spaces of central Atlanta, but also bridges the divide between east and west side.

Urban Master Plan Atlanta Greenway - The expansive network of proposed green spaces and walkways is the mechanism of connectivity in the Atlanta Greenway. It connects existing parks within a 1 mile radius of the Civic Center MARTA Station, bridges the east and west sides of Atlanta, and places a central, pure park space at the heart of the development After 42

Park Three 46
Trifecta Park - I chose to design Trifecta Park because of it’s paramount placement on the Atlanta Greenway Master Plan. It sits at a critical point between the high-rise-dotted downtown and the low-rise residential Centennial Place neighborhood. Trifecta Park is essentially 3 parks that connect 3 buildings, which center upon a grand roundabout nicknamed “The Eye.”
“The Eye” 47
48
Long Section - The three parks fluidly connect three mixed-use residential buildings, as well as propose a geometry that regulates the profile of the three buildings. They provide paved and softscapes that climb the severely sloped site and outdoor spaces of varying levels of enclosure.
