With Red Barn, 206 Gray Road, Falmouth, $119,500

Story By Colin Sargent

f you drive west on the Gray Road in Falmouth and stop just short of the old Smith Farm Restaurant, look to your left. There, sharing the same pond with Smith Farm, is our house of the month, a lovely white 1870Victorian farmhouse trimmed in white gingerbread complete with an attached red barn.

Behind this is a rolling, five-acre parcel of land that slopes gently to your own bend in a very famous river, the Piscataquis, as it meanders toward a rendezvous with the nearby Presumpscot.

In fact, the house comes with about 1,000 feet of frontage on the Piscataquis.

That's a pretty good deal for $119,500, isn't it? But that's not all.
