In October of 1972 the most spectacular gem find in North America and the largest find of gem tourmaline ever, occurred here in Maine. Notable within this find were huge watermelon crystals, many more than 8" in circumference. From an archival crystal collection held all these years, our jewelers have created this water¬ melon patch of tourmaline with curling vines of gold.

Colors, shapes, and sizes vary in infinite and fascinating combinations. For a sampling and preview see our website at CrossJewelers.com/watermelon. We look forward to your visit this summer so that you may select your favorites.

If you can’t wait, (and who could with such a collection) give us a call.
