This premium fee will fill the gap left by the budget funding cut. Fees listed in this brochure have been calculated to include the added surcharge. Martial Arts Martial Arts - Kendo, Japanese Fencing age: 10& up Kendo ‘The Way of the Sword’ is a Japanese martial art based on traditional swordmanship using protective armor and bamboo swords (shinai). It is physically and mentally challenging and can take a lifetime to master. The 3-month beginner course covers etiquette, basic footwork and basic shinai handing.
