Noticeboard Staying positive
Teachers and students have had to adapt to a new way of delivering and receiving information: distance learning. I am a firm believer in having a positive self-talk and I have asked my students to reflect on the statements below.
Jan Ceylan in Year 10 wrote the following: "I prefer the phrase 'This is tough, but so am I' because I truly believe that in life nothing is impossible. If something is hard, you must work harder to overcome it! Work and dedication will overcome the challenges in the long run- I am absolutely certain!" Murong Li in Year 9 said: "I really like the phrase 'All I need to do is take one step at a time. Breathe. You got this.' This helps me stay calm and focus on the positive things in my life. It also tells me that I should not worry too much or overload my brain with the negative information that circulates on social media during these difficult times." Which statement can you relate to the most? Take care and stay well,
Miss Florea

News Year 6 & 7 It was fantastic to see everyone on Zoom for our first Y6&7 assembly! Thank you to Mr Bradbury, Mr Jones & Mrs Pieri for joining us. All students have really handled this change with such maturity and resilience. They have adapted to working remotely and have been producing fantastic work. Everyone has adjusted to the new routine and is staying very positive. Congratulations to all of our Y6&7 stars of the week - Pierce, Valery, Luke, Issy, Maxim, Sebastien. A special mention goes to Aubrey & Sarp for demonstrating resilience and making a brilliant start to Year 7. Finally, I would like to say a huge well done to Emily, Jenny, Josh & Egor who are currently working from overseas. Despite the time difference, they have managed to submit their work and keep up to date with all lessons - hugely impressive! Well done Y6&7 - keep up this great work. We are all looking forward to meeting again.

Hillside beach club (Turkey) My brochure by sonny Shelton
In hillside beach club there are many things for
Entertainment
everyone to have a go at including a kids club for the really young ones and a slightly older one for the teenagers. There is also a football pitch. Many people use the pitch at night to have a laugh with your friends. For the family events there are competitions where you can compete to win cool prizes like free ice creams or free drinks. Later on in the day happy hour is announced which is usually everyone’s favourite time. During this time you can get hot tea and muffins and look out over the sunset. And if you want more excitement there are pool parties and water polo.
The hotel rooms are some of the best I have ever

visited, the beds are so comfy with big mattresses guaranteeing and sleep like a baby. The cleaners come every day to make your room untouched like you have just arrived and they leave a life size bird made of petals on your bed!!! On Sundays it is kebab night (me and my dad’s favourite night) and after you have finished your amazing kebabs you can head over the the mini market the people set up and get yourself a token of a carved turtle necklace or a whale bracket. Or any other amazing piece of cool looking things. Every night there is a show hosted in a arena right next to the restaurant.(every thing is close together) where I watched the semi final of the World Cup.
