COST OF ATTENDANCE

This is an estimate using an average number of 15 credits per term. Mandatory fees are included in this amount and cover services such as access to the Health Center and Recreation Center. Students majoring in programs in the College of the Arts, Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science, The School of Business, and the University Honors College pay a higher rate per credit. Amounts are based on 2022-2023 costs.

Your transportation costs will vary depending on whether you live at home, on campus, or off campus. This estimate includes the cost of public transportation to get to and from campus, to get around Portland, on-campus parking, and costs to go home for breaks.

Personal expenses could include things like toiletries, clothes, and entertainment.

PSU requires students to have comprehensive health insurance. Students who already have health insurance can waive the PSU Health Insurance Plan.
