SCHOLARSHIPS

PSU is one of the nation’s most affordable universities. We offer a full range of financial aid and free and discounted tuition to eligible students. All applicants are automatically considered for all programs listed below. All the scholarships listed below require students to enroll full time (12-15 credits per term), start in fall term, and be a first-time PSU student.

International Students: All admitted international students are automatically considered for merit scholarships of up to $10,000 per year. International students are also encouraged to apply for PSU Scholarships through the PSU General Scholarship Application.

WESTERN UNDERGRADUATE EXCHANGE (WUE)

Nonresident students pay 150% of resident tuition

OUT-OF-STATE OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP

Up to $6,000 per year

UNIVERSITY HONORS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

Up to $3,000 per year

ELIGIBILITY: Oregon resident, Oregon high school graduate, 3.0 cumulative unweighted high school GPA, Pell Grant-eligible according to FAFSA

Apply to PSU and submit the FAFSA by June 15

ELIGIBILITY: Oregon resident, Admissible to PSU as a transfer student, 2.5 cumulative transferable GPA, Pell Grant-eligible according to FAFSA

ELIGIBILITY: First Year - 3.0 cumulative unweighted high school GPA OR 1270 SAT OR 27 ACT composite. Transfer - 3.0 cumulative transferable college GPA. Resident of one of the following states or territories are eligble: AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NV, NM, ND, SD, UT, WA, WY, Guam or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
