Take the Helm of a World-Class Yacht
Every Moorings yacht, monohull or catamaran, is designed for maximum enjoyment. The standard equipment on all of our yachts is upgraded to meet our specifications. Our yacht equipment includes a GPS with colour chart plotter, auto-pilot, upgraded refrigeration system, custom bimini top on monohulls, rigid biminis on catamarans, stack packs, sail handling system, reinforced sails, remote controlled electric windlass, extra fresh-water capacity, and stereo with CD players. Air conditioning and TV/DVDs are standard on all new models. Generators and microwaves are included on many models. Your yacht is delivered to the base with a full compliment of cruising equipment: Anchors, linens, galley equipment, cruising and safety gear. Nothing to add. We commission the yacht, check all systems and rigging, and ensure equipment is in good order.

We handle it all. From the purchase of your yacht to the management, customer service, and phase out from the fleet; it is a fully integrated programme managed by The Moorings and carried out by our dedicated employees. You enjoy up to twelve weeks each calendar year on your yacht, or a sister ship, at many worldwide destinations. We ensure your yacht is prepared for your arrival. All you pay is a nominal fee for cleaning and consumables: Fresh linens, ice, water, fuel for the outboard engine. There are no unexpected costs!

Professional Maintenance
Your yacht will be maintained to the most rigorous standards in the industry at no cost to you. All work will be performed by our own team of professionals in accordance with the precise guidelines of The Moorings maintenance manuals. These show all scheduled maintenance, from weekly checks to annual haul-outs to the end-of-programme phase out.
Financing
The Moorings has secured preferred relationships with third party financing institutions in each market. Financing options vary from country to country. A Moorings yacht sales representative will explain the financing in detail.
Duration
The programme covers five to six high seasons depending on the location of the yacht. The Moorings allows early exit from the programme with advance notice.
Trade-In
Every year, a large percentage of owners choose to trade their yacht for the purchase of a new Moorings yacht. Some owners have enjoyed several Moorings yachts over the years.
Option to Extend
You may be offered placement into a wholly owned division, Footloose Sailing Charters, located in the Caribbean. An Owner Care specialist will contact you prior to the end of your contract if a placement is possible. This could allow you to extend your yacht in charter up to an additional three years.
Brokerage Support
At the end of the programme you can keep your yacht or choose to sell it. Our brokerage offices will gladly assist you in the marketing of your yacht for resale and will assure a seamless transition. Our brokerage offices are company owned and fully integrated into our business with locations in key markets including the UK, France, Germany, Turkey, Croatia, Greece, United States, Caribbean, Australia and Asia.
