MUSIC IN THE PARK KICKS OFF JUNE 2

Music in the Park is ready to rock and roll. If you’re not familiar, the program is a series of free, outdoor concerts on Friday nights. Each week brings a different band and gives them the stage at Soldiers & Sailors Park from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Organizers say the program started in 1988 and credit Northwest Savings Bank and the City of Warren with helping facilitate the concerts. Brought to you by the great folks at Northwest Savings Bank, “Where people make the difference.” And the City of Warren PA.

This year brings a total of 14 concerts — a total of six are classic rock along with two oldies, two acoustic and one each in the genre of blueglass, country, soft rock and jazz.

The music starts Friday night, June 2 with the classic rock group The Untouchables.
