SPRING ROAD MAINTENANCE
CITY CREWS ARE REPAIRING POTHOLES, PREPPING FOR STREET SWEEPING What you can expect from us: • City Crews and equipment are out in full force repairing potholes on priority streets when the roads are dry. In cooler weather, a cold-mix asphalt is used. When the weather warms up, hot-mix asphalt is used. • Potholes with the potential to cause damage to vehicles will be repaired as quickly as possible. • City crews will begin sweeping high-traffic priority streets in mid-April to remove sand from medians where snow was stored on streets like Circle Drive, 8th Street and 22nd Street. What you can do: • Phone our Customer Service Centre at 306-975-2476 immediately to report potholes that could cause vehicle damage or are a tripping hazard for pedestrians. • Slow down and use extra caution, especially when approaching puddles on the road that may be hiding a deep pothole. For more information, visit saskatoon.ca/betterroads, email roadways@saskatoon.ca or call 306-975-2476.
