What if
the soil held the secrets to our past and our future?
As a sponsor of the PotashCorp Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan again in 2015, we’re doing more than supporting a fun community event; we’re bringing back our Fossil Find! Sift your hands through the soil and you might discover a shark’s tooth or fossil that has been buried for millions of years. This ancient marine life helps form the phosphate ore we turn into crop nutrients.

Our Vision is to continue to create Saskatchewan's most dynamic, accessible, professional and participatory arts and culture event for Children. Our Mission is to celebrate children, community and the arts by: • Presenting world-class performing artists in a variety of disciplines to perform for, and work with, Saskatchewan children every year. • Providing a highly accessible and inclusive civic forum for children to engage with their community and their peers. • Creating a variety of spaces for children to take part in activities that contribute to learning and development, and which use arts, culture, and creative learnings as a portal to participation. We Value: Respect, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Play • Respect for the child's capacity to process authentic artistic value, and to play a positive role in the life of our community. • Inclusion for all Saskatchewan children, regardless of heritage, economic demographic, family dynamic, physical/mental ability, or any other issue that may represent a barrier to participation. • Accessibility in regard to physical location and on-the-ground movement patterns, as well as being broadly financially accessible by remaining as affordable as possible. • Play is the "real work" of childhood and the precursor to innovation in adult life. At our Festival, this is represented by active creative exploration, the expression of curiosity and happiness, and participation in high-quality arts and culture experiences for children presented in a cooperative and celebratory environment.
