Ms Sonal Dave

As a multi-passionate, Sonal has led an exciting and eclectic career. From a young age, she did not let anything stop her from following her dreams. At the age of 50, she became one of only two Asian Female Toastmasters and Celebrants in the UK. She is also a Public Speaking Expert for Children and Adults, teaching life skills. She is a Magistrate with NW London (since 2004) and a published author following the launch of the collaboration books “It Starts With Me” and “The New Woman”.

Born in Uganda, Sonal was diagnosed with Congenital Dysplasia of the left hip. Not letting this stop her, she became a child performer with the English National Opera & Sadlers Wells and after college went on to solo travel around India.

Her health issues in her younger years became a lesson for managing her health later on in life, giving her strength and tools to cope with trauma and chronic pain. Sonal now hopes to help others break down barriers and open doors to show them that they too have the opportunity to be different and do what they are passionate about.
