Letter from the Director On behalf of the faculty and staff of PowerHouse School of Supernatural Ministries, I would like to personally welcome you to our school. It is our pleasure to accept you as one of our valued students of 2010. As a member of the first class of our new school, you are part of a very special intake of students that will help pave the way for hundreds of students who will follow in your footsteps. John Wesley said, "Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not a straw whether they be clergymen or laymen; such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on earth. God does nothing but in answer to prayer." The longer I serve in ministry, the more the above quote by John Wesley makes heart sense to me. God is calling all who will go. It is my sincere opinion that many are called but have disqualified themselves as a result of the training system of the world. Many people assume they are not called and act accordingly. It is my experience that your calling and election do not become clear until you step out and obey the Great Commission. Direction and knowing come while you are moving. We are so excited to have you with us as we discover together the gifts and callings on our lives and advance the Kingdom of God. Whatever it is that God saw you doing in His heart when he formed you in your mother’s womb, we will discover together and pursue it with all our hearts. This is a big step in the direction of receiving the Father’s words, “Well done my good and faithful servant.” Welcome to PowerHouse 2010!
Blessings, Doug Stanton Director PowerHouse School of Supernatural Ministries
PowerHouse School of Supernatural Ministry Vision and Mission Our Vision The vision of PowerHouse School of Supernatural Ministry is to prepare students for active service in the Kingdom of God. The school is designed as a maturing process and a series of awakening revelations that motivate students to step out of themselves and into the flow of God's Holy Spirit toward His people and the lost and broken in His creation. A properly focused Christian ministry reflects God's unconditional love for every person that He has created and shows Jesus to the world. The standard is to live and walk as Paul challenged every believer in Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Jesus Christ who lives in me." It is God’s desire for everyone to live and minister to others in the Spirit and Power of Christ. This is what Christianity is all about.
Our Mission Our mission is to nurture and equip students for a lifetime of Kingdom service. We don't want to just educate you and have you find yourself with nowhere to go. It is our intention to also help find and place people in ministry, and continue to help them on the field. We are committed to train in such a way that: 1. Students are equipped to properly handle the Word of God. 2. Ministers are built with strong biblical foundations and as well as knowledge and experience in all of the supernatural aspects of the “Gospel of Christ” and the “Works of Christ”. 3. It is our intention to recognize the individual and unique ability and calling that God has prepared for each student. The training in the School of Supernatural Ministry will always head towards the individual calling and destiny of the student or couple. God has a specific call for every individual and it is not uncommon for him to lead each of us through a progression of ministry works to arrive at our life’s work. Our desire is that these goals are realized in an environment that fosters a love for God and for one another.
PowerHouse School of Supernatural Ministry Statement of Faith We believe that the Bible is God's word. It is inspired, infallible, accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives. We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. We believe that sin brings death and separates each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, born of a virgin is both God and man. He is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to demonstrate His victory over death that we may have eternal life. We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the 'new birth' we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and submit to His will for our lives. We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and live my faith in accordance with His word. We believe that we need to be baptized with the Holy Spirit who empowers us with spiritual gifts of power, revelation and service, that the New Testament evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a dynamic, continuously changing life that glorifies God in word and deed. We believe that Jesus has commissioned His Church to make disciples, proclaim the Gospel and extend the kingdom to the whole world. We believe that God wants to heal, deliver and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively. We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell is determined by His grace through our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again in all His glory and power as He promised.
