Ifind it hard to write about myself, or even write in a first person point of view. The AP Style lessons from college that were hammered into my brain likely play a role in that, but it’s actually always been the case.

Rarely have I been interested in detailing my own experiences as a sports writer because the reason I’ve always wanted to call myself a journalist was to tell the stories of others and to shine a light on the people that use sports as a way to express themselves and entertain or inspire others.
