Guinavah-Malibu Campground Year: 2014 Client: National Forest Service Location: Logan Canyon, Utah

Campground Entrance

Design Intents: Guinavah-Malibu Campground was built by the CCC decades ago. The facilities ​and campsites are not​able to meet the needs as increasing usage. ​Our​goals ​were ​to protect riparian habit, preserve existing features or add new features, increasing the number of campsites and proposing different uses to protect old willow trees. By introducing new trails for and along the river.​Also,​ changing of entrance help diverting users into different sites according to their needs. P.2


Permaculture Resident Year: 2014 Design Intent: Client: Stuart Family The ​Stuarts wants a permaculture​garden design for their new home. As Location: Unitah, Utah they enjoy garden work and having a self-sustaining life style. To meet the needs, we ​applied the principles​of permaculture, like keyhole​ planters, vertical ​plantings to maximize cropping. Also, to consider the zoning of plants ​and water usage which a well planned zoning can minimize waste of water. A​successful permaculture garden could also let the gardens work alone in their watering cycle.

Boise Central Bench Health District Year: 2015 Client: Boise City Council Location: Boise, Idaho Design Intent: Improve the hospital campus by adding adequate services and amenities to their staffs, patients and visitors. Also, through seamless blending of the edge between the campus and community to create a welcoming and walkable environment. As noticing there are availability and proximity of great outdoor spaces to encourage healthy activity (fitness and nutrition via parks & gardens. Most importantly, to further connect the community to the international market which facilitate the hospital with the refugees community and provide services they need.

There will be meditation garden, bioswale, gathering spaces and walking trails. To end with construction documents, trying to maintain the views and provide a higher walkability on site, grading and vegetation have been taken as major considerations while working on details..
