Our material sustainability topics

Based on the stakeholder process described in the previous chapter, we have concluded that our sustainability strategy can be grouped into thirteen material sustainability topics. The fi gure below depicts how we have grouped the sustainability topics under the fi ve values of Vår Energi: VI VIL. Moreover, the model includes the relevant SDGs for each of the values. The model illustrates a holistic view of our sustainability efforts and how these are integrated in our core business activities. For instance, Growth is a value that comprises both the growth ambitions for Vår Energi as a company, as well as growth in relation to the value we deliver to our society in terms of employment and focus on minimising our impact on the environment. In the following chapters, the Sustainability Report 2019 will dive deeper into the meaning of each of the values – to our organisation and to our stakeholders.
