Tai Chi has been described as “meditation in motion, gentle flowing movement performed in a slow, focused manner.” Anyone can participate, as Tai Chi places minimal stress on muscles and joints. Therefore, it is especially suitable and beneficial for older adults. The benefits of Tai Chi include decreased stress, increased energy and improved flexibility and balance.
