A Message from Michael D. McKee, Executive Director

I hope this message finds you well. In 2023, we will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the dedication of our Masonic Temple. Our team often reflects on the generosity of those who have supported this building for so many years and make special projects and continued restoration possible.

Michael D. McKee, Executive Director

We have completed the uplighting of the Masonic Temple and are working on the placement of the light posts across the street. We can then mount the projection lighting to complete the illumination project.

On Dec. 10, we will be opening a freezer filled with books that suffered mold damage. The books have been frozen for one year to neutralize the mold, which will be delicately removed from the pages. The books will then be preserved properly for future generations.

We have added display cases throughout the building to share the one-of-a-kind artifacts from the collection. We thank you for making the Masonic Library and Museum a part of your legacy.
