My start-up is a concept space engulfed in nature with a performance area where budding theatre and art enthusiasts showcase their talent along with a cafeteria having the concept of serving slow, healthy and home-cooked food.

CLIENT HISTORY

The client Ms Ananya D. is an architect having

a strong artistic background, as her family members are theatre artists and dancers. She is a theatre artist as well as a Bharatanatyam and Contemporary dancer. She is very proud of her Indian culture and rooted to it. Being an artist herself, she understands the struggle and passion of artists. She wants to provide a platform to creative minds and budding artists because she strongly feels that these talents should be showcased to the public and should be encouraged for their creativity. The strategy of the space is mainly to make it a creative public domain. She is very foodie but at the same time fond of healthy and home-cooked food. Architecture helped her in cultivating her interests more.

LOGOTYPE DEVELOPMENT

Why this style? The standing lines at the ends are used in Devanagari scripts while writing shlokas. Sleeping line suggestive of Devanagari script which is the root of ancient Indian scriptures. 15

COLOUR PALETTE

Why this colour palette? These colours are traditional Indian colours. Ranging from food items to traditional rituals, clothing to festivities, all have bright colour palette which includes these colours. In addition, these colours/pigments can be made from natural elements, too.

MARK/ ICON

Why this mark? These hand gestures are the mudras used in Yoga, Indian classical dance as well as teaching mudra of Gautama Buddha. The place is a platform to share art and knowledge and to have intellectual discussions.
