Mentor’s Comment swot, look at gaps, identify the problem area, what do we feel, that the intervention is help us to grow ,for long run will they grow after us ,short term and long term gain, don't think of solutions, go by the process test the solution, possibility of implementation, observe one day in their life, shadowing customer behavior, how is one pleased how do they, deal with complains, get real assessment of the business

Schedule 7:30 - 8:00 am : The tempo arrives at the cart to give the fruits Unloading procedure starts The old fruits are replaced with new fruits, and the old fruits are transfered in the second cart. 8:00 am 10:00 am

: He starts selling fruits to the customers : His wife takes the second cart (the one with the old fruits ) and goes in the nearby areas to sell fruits.

: Tea with the near by stalls and vendors.

: His wife comes back after selling fruits in nearby area with an empty cart.

: He starts winding up and cart closes and locks it then he goes back home.

Common Observation People have a habit of asking directions. The customers first taste the fruit and then buy. Vipul bhai spends his time mostly in reading newspaper His customers are mostly from NIFT, NID, DAICT, TCS and nearby apartments. Do not depend on digital weighing machine and calculator. No inventory maintained .

FRUITS ARE HEALTHY People nowadays are being increasingly health conscious. So, the consumption of fruits overall will never go down.

LOCATION OF THE FRUIT SELLER Location of any cart should be such that maximum people could reach it for buying purposes.

CONNECT WITH THE FRUIT SELLER Many a times, we customers tend to develop a certain kind of a bond with our fruit seller (especially when he comes at the doorstep).

ACCESSIBILITY To support the above point, in order to attract maximum customers the location should be strategic, such that it is easily visible and accessible by maximum crowd.

BUY FRUITS AS PER YOUR CHOICE AND WILL Sometimes even if the season of the fruit is gone, we tend to at times buy it and don’t mind paying extra/ high rates just because we love the fruit.

COST FACTOR The pricing of fruits is also a deciding factor. If the pricing is high, but the quality not good, sales will go down.

VARIETIES AS PER CHOICE Fruits can be consumed in variety of ways like it can be eaten raw, fruit juices, sliced fruit plate, fruit salad, fruit custard etc.

SEASONAL CHANGE IN FRUIT Not all fruits are available throughout the year. So, in order to sustain and keep a steady income going all along, there needs to be proper planning of what fruit to sell in which season.

READY TO EAT Fruits are those kind of edible items which do not require any cooking or additional preparations.

INVESTMENT AND SERVICES OFFERED There are different kinds of fruit sellers. Some only selling fruits, some selling juices and chopped fruit plates etc.
