Currently, we have six long arm machines, including sit down machines. We chose the Handi Quilter brand because of their excellent reputation. We wanted you to be able to see our lovely, new Koala cabinets, to actually sit at the cabinet and see not only if it fits the space you have at home but feels comfortable to you. The same goes for machines, offering you Pfaff and Brother sewing machines, embroidery machines and multi needle machines gives you the options you may be looking for.

A new Machine Embroidery adventure! It is pieced, decoratively stitched, appliquéd and quilted all in-the-hoop of your embroidery machine. Monthly Events Saturday Sampler 2020 A yearly favorite for our customers! This monthly event is going 15 years strong, and this years quilts are among some of our favorites. Saturday Sampler is held on the second Saturday of each month. You may choose from the following session times: 9:30, 10:30 or 11:30. We have three options to choose from Farm Fresh Machine Embroidery design, Facets or Farm Girl Vintage 2. Sign up for this event simply requires the purchase of the pattern or CD of your choice and an $8 fee. Then at our first Saturday Sampler of 2020, you will receive your first quilt block kit free of charge. Bring your completed blocks from the previous month to receive the current block for FREE.

Embroidery Chicks When? The first Saturday of every month, and the Friday before at 10:30. What does it cost? It requires a yearly USB stick for $19.99 What is it? We created this monthly event for our machine embroidery lovers! At this event, you will see what’s new in the industry, from designs to techniques to stabilizers and more. Each month, attendees will receive a free machine embroidery design! No need to bring your machine!
Strip Club When? The last Sunday of every month, beginning at 1:30 (Doors open at 1) What does it cost? There is a $5 cash cover charge. ;) What is it? We will showcase new products to make sewing even more fun and exciting, while sharing tips for putting together our quilt of the month! SPECIAL EVENTS 2020 Quilt Retreats Come cozy up to a Quilt Retreat at Prairie Quilt! Join the fun at our spacious Creativity Center, where you will be spending three days of nonstop project making! Bring your sewing supplies and spend a warm weekend stitching with your friends!

Cost is $199 per retreat. Fee includes five meals, sewing space, demos, giveaways and most importantly, handmade desserts.
2020 Embroidery Retreats
A special retreat just for our machine embroidery friends! During these retreats, every attendee will receive three designs. January is pictured here. You are able to work on these during the January retreat. However, you can also choose to work on any other project of your choice, and save these designs for later!

Big Name Celebs Coming to the Prairie Quilt Grand Re-opening! Mathew Boudreaux of Mister Domestic learned to sew as a kid, but never got into it until he had his daughter Helena, who is now four and a half. He thought it would be a great way to connect with her, if he could make her cool clothes.
