I am a third year architecture student from college of architecture trivandrum,kerala aiming to do a six month internship. This application contains my works from B arch degree

BIOGRAPHY I was born in a village, Kadammanitta where the nature holds her beauty,but for my education i now recide in Trivandrum,the capital city of Kerala.The sights which i saw were different so was the architecture.Different views brought different thoughts to my creation. Understanding that new places bring new ideas ,i travelled to new places which extended my views. Right from my childhood,I am a huge cinephile.When i grew up i became more fond towards its making process and the planning taken to create a masterpiece. And now when i am architecture student,I realise that just how a director creates his frames is how an architect creates his plan. My intention is to create iconic frames in my works and they should always remain golden in my clients heart

01 KOODU RESIDENCE

THE PROJECT WAS TO DESIGN A RESIDENCE FOR THE MOVIE CHARACTERS IN THE MOVIE KOODE WHICH IS A 2018 INDIAN MALAYALAM-LANGUAGE PSYCHOLOGICAL DRAMA FILM WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY ANJALI MENON, THE 2 STOREY RESIDENCE WAS DESIGNED TO CREATE SPACES THAT REFLECTS THE CHARACTER AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE USERS. THE EASTFAÇADE OF THE RESIDENCE LOOKS UPON A VAST TEA PLANTATION KOODE WAS THE MOVIE AND THE USERS

MAPPING ACTIVITIES The spacial relations depected in this sheet shows the interconnections between the users and the space in such a way that the users feel comfortable with ample light and ventilation according to their needs.

A block of space has been extracted from the whole block seperating the private from the public spaces.

Voids are created at each level such that these spaces forms direct links with the nature.The voids also helps the users experience high spacial quality solid

02 CONOSCENZA MONTESSORI SCHOOL THE PROJECT WAS TO DESIGN A MONTESSORI SCHOOL ON A CONTOUR SITE,EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT. DURING THIS PERIOD, CHILDREN ARE EXPOSED TO MONTESSORI METHODS AND PRACTICES THAT ARE CONTINUED WELL INTO THE PRIMARY YEARS OF SCHOOL. IT IS DURING THE EARLY CHILDHOOD PERIOD THAT CHILDREN'S MINDS ARE THE MOST ADAPTABLE TO LEARNING NEW INFORMATION

THE TILT THE APROACH IS OBLIQUE ,A PATH IS FORMED BY THE VOID FORMED BY THE COVER FROM A WATER BODY,

THIS PROJECT INTEGRATES THE EXISTING LANDSCAPE AND ITS COMPONENTS

THE ELEMENTS OF THE LANDSCAPE APPEARES TO BE A PART OF THE BUILDING ,THE CANTILEVER AREA MAKES THE STREAM FOLWING BELOW INCLUDED WITH THE DESIGN

THE POSITIONING ENABLES THE SUNLIGHT AT DUSK AND DAWN TO ENTER THE BUILDING,IT ALSO COUNTERACTS THE AFTERNOON HEAT OF NOON HOURS,

THE SLOPED ROOF IS IDEAL DURING THE RAINY SEASON .THE SLOP DESCENDS IN A WAY THAT THE RAINWATER FALLS INTO TO STREAM BELOW

THE PROJECT WAS TO CREATE A FIVE STAR HOTEL WITH 80 ROOMS.THE MAIN CUSTOMERS ARE GUESTS,BOTH LEISURE TRAVELERS AND BUSINESS PEOPLE - STAYING AT THE HOTEL FOR 2-3 NIGHTS. IN ORDER TO MEET THE NEEDS OF MODERN TRAVELERS AND THE FAST PACE OF LIFE, THE PREMISES ARE FULLY EQUIPPED FOR COMFORTABLE WORK, MEETINGS, AND LEISURE, WHICH ALLOWS GUESTS NOT ONLY TO SPEND A GREAT TIME BUT ALSO TO WORK OR HOLD NECESSARY BUSINESS MEETINGS WITHOUT EVEN LEAVING THE HOTEL.
