ONE HEALTH Healthcare setup for future
HOUSTON, TX February 2016
One Health
This project was an Architectural competition hosted by AIA, Houston. The project goals were to foster thoughtful design in the sub-discipline of healthcare architecture. The architecture had to balance permanence and change. We had to propose ways to explore some of the most pressing conceptual issues in health facility design. We needed to consider - Outdoor spaces, Retail health, Clinic, Accessibility and Design performance

HOUSTON HEALTH HUB Multi-specialty Clinic
HOUSTON, TX December 2016
Houston Health Hub
This is an on-going ďŹ nal study project to propose a new care model for multi-specialty clinic. This new model is based on strategic planning that caters to emerging trends in medical technology and improved patient experience. Segregating the sta and user movement is the prime motivation behind this layout. The design also incorporates views to outdoors, landscape spaces and increases daylight within the building.

THE GREEN HABITAT Students Housing Complex
COLLEGE STATION, TX December 2015
The Green Habitat
This was a real - project coordinated with Texas A&M University. The project approach was to come up with four guiding principles for our design. My design had the following : 1. Every major amenity within walking distance of home 2. Creating usable green spaces for student community. 3. Designing community for people and not cars 4. Promoting active and healthy lifestyle opportunities.

IIT JODHPUR REC CENTER
RAJASTHAN, INDIA
Dining hall and Gym on - campus
January 2014
IIT Jodhpur Rec Center
This was a part of new campus development for IIT Jodhpur. This building was intended to be the hang-out spot for students, as they came here to eat and work-out. The design intent was taking clues from traditional local architecture and yet giving a contemporary design solution. The key feature was ‘Jali’ wall made from bricks that were rotated regularly.. Also it was important to get the light within the building so a inner courtyard was planned.

The Built Mass was deďŹ ned by the prevailing site conditions and neighboring green spaces. The idea was to push the building in so that it had some foreground in front of this visual corridor. The building mass is oriented in such a manner that it minimizes its exposure on it's southern edge. The triangular mass is a direct result of the site lines Courtyards are a tried and tested method of moderating extreme climatic conditions like here within a building.

October 2013
As a research facility, this had to a functional building that can accommodate the changing trends within the filed of research. Flexibility, adaptability and transformation were few of the main parameters of this design. The services keep changing and hence each floor plate was equipped with sufficient shaft spaces. The interstitial floor held all the gases and necessary plumbing and this floor was accessible for repairs as well as changes.

HIGH STREET PHOENIX
MAHARASHTRA, INDIA
Outdoor performance area
May 2015
The client wanted the outdoor space to be designed into a permanent performance venue. The design brief was to provide one main stage, and few display stages. The landscape had to be integrated by maintaining the overall look and feel of the scheme. The concept was to have continuity, which was achieved by having splayed surfaces.. To provide shaded areas, few canopies have to be introduced after studying overall shade angles.
