Responsibilities : Collected ground data related to Building use, road inventory, LULC and infrastructure mapping and secondary data related infrastructure ser vices from ManagementImphal.ofGIS database, processing and analysis in relation to Urban components are carried out. Also worked on draft Masterplan report of Greater Imphal area for 2041.

Position : Project Intern Duration : July 2019 to August 2019

Responsibilities : Worked on the project of participatory monitoring, management and planning ecosystem. Assisted on digitization of roads and buildings, conducted on field surveys for identifying road hierarchies and the problems observed on them using the iNagrik mobile application for measuring urban mobility, analysed the collected data and proposed solutions to the issues identified. Also worked out budgets and schemes applicable to the proposed solutions.

The competition seeks easy-to-replicate ideas for living small and minimal, to better serve our changing world. The agenda is to design a new concept of small-scale home for 2 people with not more than 125 cu. m. by volume.

The conceptual strategy to solve mass housing problem can be evidently tested for its viability as demonstrated for varying sites and for varying contexts.

The design prototype merges the concerns of adaptability, indeterminacy, and affordability with an idea serving both urban as well as rural Indian contexts.

MOHALLA

Rationalization for neighbourhood planning and identification of major socio-economic, physical, environmental, and regulatory issues will indicate relevant inferences to revitalise the neighbourhood in an affordable and environmentally sustainable manner.

Problem Statement : Low and medium income individuals and families cannot meet the financial demands of the city’s skyrocketing housing prices. This results in the lack of affordable housing in the higheconomic areas of the city. This project aims to fill this affordable housing gap. It proposes a sustainable neighbourhood planning that meets the affordability criteria and negotiates with building regulations.

Zoning as per URDPFI guidelines, are done with designated spaces for Commercial activities, Public Semi public spaces, and Roads. According to income level of standard, different units are designed in terms of carpet area. Community housing are preferred with socio - economic analysis Along the major corridors, due to high land value, mixed used are favored by the MIG / HIG group.

Tram is a primeval means of transportation in the city of Kolkata that are gradually in the way of extinct. Can it be redesigned and used for educational aspect for the many street children? Conceptualization Shape Formation Unit Size : 37.5 sq. m. HOUSING DESIGN 1:

The walls of each unit is designed in doubled layered Cross Laminated Timber with a vaccuum in between that allows the cool air from existing water body to flow through, thus lowering down the already existing air inside the vaccuum. The double layer and cool air flow ultimately lowers down the interior temperature.
