How to Edit Car Pictures - Fun Photo Tricks

Editing pictures of cars can be done using native Windows graphic software, Windows Photo Gallery and MS Paint. Both of these programs provide basic photo editing. For professionals, software like Adobe Photoshop offers very comprehensive editing tools. However for basic picture editing, the two aforementioned standard Windows options should be able to do the trick. When editing pictures of cars, the designer should have an idea in mind of the effects they want to achieve before they begin.

• Right click on the file that will be edited. Click "Open With," then select "Windows Photo Gallery." The photo will be opened in the program. Click "Fix," the edit menu will appear. The user can now adjust "Brightness," "Contrast," "Color Temperature," "Tint," and "Saturation." Slide the bar next to each effect and the image will reflect those changes instantly. Play around until the desired effects are achieved. Click "Save" to apply those changes.


• Right click on the file that will be edited. Click "Open With," then select "Paint." MS Paint will now open. Paint has a number of options for user to work with. Click "Image," "Attributes" to change the "Size" and "Resolution" of the photo. This is useful for shrinking larger images.

• Add text to a photo. Adding text to a car picture can be useful. Adding performance specs or other information about the car can help the viewer learn more about the car. Click the "A" on the left tool bar to bring up the text menu. Click and hold on the screen where the text box should appear. Drag out a text box. This is the area where the text will go. Select a color from the "Color Palette." Select "Font" options from the "Text Toolbar." Type the text. When finished click somewhere outside of the text box. Click "File," "Save" to save the picture.
