Demand for residential properties has surged due to increased urbanization and rising household income. In fact, the metropolitan cities are expecting around 80 percent of residents to be living in apartments by 2030.

With this demand for apartment living growing, the design of this popular housing choice and its potential to improve livability is more crucial than ever.

For this semester design, we were required to design a small apartment design of G+3, comprising of 8 apartments with 2BHK and 3BHK units with adequate car parks and other requirements as per the local building guidelines.

This semester will focus on designing learning spaces that foster creativity, interaction and serve as a platform for education, research and training. A global pandemic is in full effect. People are losing lives, the economy is on the verge of a global recession, and every business is facing uncertainty. Most of us are stressed & uncertain about lies ahead. In these hard times we need the full capacity of our brain to make decisions, come up with new ideas & most importantly to stay calm. People have started to understand the importance of mental health along with their physical well being. Hence health retreats and wellness centres are being opened in many places.
