THE VOID
2022
Location: Kala Acadey, Goa
The Drawing Board Competition
The competition aims to create a memorial for Ar Charles Correa with a context that firmly ingrained and includes one of Correa’s most celebrated work; Kala Academy.
The void is a celebration of late Ar Charles Correa, honouring his unparalleled legacy. Taking inspiration from the man himself, the memorial situated in front of the Kala Academy overlooking the Mandovi river is experienced not as a single object, but as a path that flows and meanders, sometimes covered, sometimes open to the sky.

Upon descending the slope, the visitors are greeted by a beautiful open to sky courtyard surrounded by red latterite walls, covered with water element. The connection between the still water and the moving sky symbolizes the presence in absence. The courtyard then leads to a colonnade space towards the west, overlooking the beautiful sunset over the Mandovi river.

Location: Kalopul, Lalitpur
Children Park | Landscape Design
Located at the riverfront of lalitpur, the concept of the park revolves around the idea of letting a child explore themselves instead of limiting them to a ceratin space and exposing them to nature in term of play and growth in children. Through the exposure to the nature, the design helps in development of children’s cognitive skills as well as develop a sense of stewardship over the envirronment that they grow up playing.
