2017 Summer Program Pratt Brooklyn Campus Pratt Institute’s PreCollege program welcomes over 400 high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to our Brooklyn campus for a month, where they encounter life as an art and design college student. Reflecting Pratt’s academic culture, PreCollege students are immersed in their studio practice and actively participate in a rigorous full schedule of classes and cultural enrichment opportunities Monday through Sunday. Classes are led by Pratt’s renowned faculty of working artists and professional designers who are committed to sharing their expertise in the field. Orientation: Wednesday, July 5 Courses: July 6–28 Student Exhibition: Friday, July 28 (in Brooklyn) Fall and Spring Program Pratt introduces high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to the professional world of architecture, art and design, fashion, creative writing, and more in a series of Saturday and Sunday classes. Immerse yourself. Earn college credits and develop your portfolio with courses in architecture, art, design, fashion, and more!

Pratt Institute’s two-week or fourweek noncredit intensive courses allow students to investigate a new career option, complete a portfolio, or delve into what you love this summer.

College students and adult learners participate in an immersive learning experience within the creative fields of their choice. Students are able to develop or enhance their skills, whether in fulfillment of academic or professional objectives. Each course carries three elective credits. Early registration is encouraged. After the deadlines, students may be admitted only if space remains in their selected course. •• Earn 3 to 9 elective credits in one or both summer sessions to transfer back to your school •• Develop or sharpen your skills in a chosen art/design field •• Cultivate your unique creative voice while building a portfolio •• Convenient Chelsea/Greenwich Village location •• Explore the possibility of studying at the college level

Registration Deadlines Application information and registration deadline for each credit program is published on the SCPS website: www.pratt.edu/scps. For all noncredit courses, we encourage you to register at least one week before the start date of a given course to guarantee yourself a seat! Course Cancellation Policy All courses are subject to enrollment requirements. If courses are cancelled by Pratt for any reason, you may transfer to another course or receive a full refund. Pratt Institute reserves the right to cancel any class for which there is insufficient enrollment and to withdraw or modify course offerings. Course location, fees, and instructors may also be changed when necessary. Discounts Senior citizens and Pratt alumni qualify for a 10 percent tuition discount.
