My first BIM projects, a significant milestone achieved as part of Novatr’s BIM Professional Course. This project, located in Hong Kong, involved the creation of BIM solutions through a live simulation for an actual building.
The objective of the project was to redevelop an existing building, constructed in the 70s, to maximize the Gross Floor Area (GFA) permitted for the plot. This redevelopment not only ensures a better Return on Investment for the client but also aims to create a standalone landmark at the urban level.
The entire journey, from receiving the client briefing to witnessing the project come to life, has been an incredible experience! I am particularly delighted to have gained knowledge about the BIM workflow and processes as per the RIBA framework, while enhancing my skills in Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and more.
