Please give him pill or liquid form. Dear Director: This letter is written for purposes of clarification and to request information. John Snyder has been sent here for short term rehabilitation, to begin walking again. He was walking and very capable prior to the food poisoning hospitalization in August 2009. He was hospitalized and kept in the bed for over a month and this contributed to his loss of walking. John Snyder was and should be still in good health. He is here for wound care for his leg. He has no history of heart disease, organ dysfunction or Alzheimer. The only medication should be for the betterment of his wounded leg. No injections or rectal smears should be necessary. He has informed us that he is getting injected in the stomach twice a day. Please stop this. Injections should be rendered only if there is no pill or liquid form of the needed medication. Any and all injections should be monitored and minimized and only if remedy cannot be sought through liquid medicine or pill form. Since he has been getting twice daily injections, his health has deteriorated. Since Sunday, October 4, 2009, a difference in his health has been noted. His speech was not slurred previously and it is now. He had an appetite previously, now his appetite has deteriorated. Please take him off of injections unless it is the only method he can get needed medicine and the family should be notified. Also, Dr. Krauz from Jacobi Hospital should not be making any medical decisions for him. He can be seen by the Nursing Home Doctor until his private doctor avails. Please let us know the name of the injections rendered twice a day to him since Monday October 5, 2009. Also, the injection developing company name is needed. Injections should be suspended unless there is no other way he can get the medicine and we the undersigned should be notified. Please forward this to all people who have authority to inject him.
