THE TIMING

Everyone tells you that this means you need three or four months. Sometimes that is true. It depends on a couple of things. If price is the bottom line, import by ocean. This will usually take 8 to 10 weeks. Depending on the quantity, some ocean shipments can arrive in as little as six weeks. Shipping by air will increase the cost, but often times is still affordable.

WHEN IT’S A CUSTOM DESIGN YOUR PART IS:

1. A rough sketch or description. 2. A target price or budget 3. The quantity 4. The timing 5. If you describe the promotional campaign we can also make suggestions that are within the budget.

OUR PART IS:

1. We will have a quote to you within 96 hours 2. We will have a quote for the product(s) and a drawing or picture

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? IT DEPENDS:

Sometimes the quote is perfect. In those cases we will make a final production drawing; have that approved by the client; collect a deposit with the order; establish terms; produce a sample for approval; then produce and deliver the order. Sometimes changes are required … the feedback you provide may result in alterations. In those cases we go back to the drawing board until the client’s expectations are surpassed.

Every authorized distriubutor has been assigned a private user name and password. Contact your account rep if you do not know you secured information. The distributor site offers many functional tools. Customized for each distributor, it offers 24/7 order status, provides information on order shipments, presents specials and clear-outs, introduces new products first, allows you to place orders on-line, keeps you in contact with your Precidio support team, and gives you not only down-loadable art templates, but also gives you the most powerful Virtual Sample program available. Custom quotes? Catalogues? Samples? All on-line. The Precidio site is a powerful tool designed to save our distributors time and enhance our ability to serve. Specials, clearance, discontinued items can be viewed on both the prviate and public sites. Inventory is current and updated daily.

VIRTUAL SAMPLE

Precidio’s Virtual Sample program allows you to create speculative samples on-line. They can be viewd as a rotating 3D image or as a flat twodimensional presentation. You may create your own private folders and store artwork in your private secure area. When you are making Virtual Samples you will only be placing artwork in areas that can be imprinted. You may save your samples in presentation format, email them to a perspective client, or incorporate them in your company stores. Save Time. Save Money.

PREP ART SERVICE What do we need for Art? Anything. We can use any format of electronic art e.g. Jpeg, Tiff, Bitmap and Gif and re-create your artwork for only $50(a). Save Time. Save Money. OVERSEAS SAVINGS Larger quantities? Longer lead times required (typically 90 days). Request overseas direct import pricing.

FOUR COLOUR PROCESS

Our insulated travel mugs and tumblers offer a wonderful advertising opportunity. The four colour digitally printed inserts provide the most enticing and exciting graphic opportunites. And now selling them has just become easier. We now can accept your flat artwork or graphics files and re-produce them on the proper curved templates for only the cost of our standard four colour process insert set-up. For just $90.00(g) we do it all!

SPECIAL SERVICES

www.precidio.com Precidio sells their promotional products through authorized distributors. The Precidio website is designed with that in mind. Your customers’ clients can access the public site by clicking on the flag of the country in which they wish to purchase. This is an area where our distributors’ clients may browse through our wide selection of products, where they may download product templates for correct artwork preparation, and where they may produce their own Virtual Samples. They cannot select a distributor, nor can they contact Precidio in any way.

Accepted Artwork Formats 1. For best results please supply computer files 2. Accepted formats are vector based files that can be colour separated saved as PC files of the following: • Corel Draw 12 • Adobe Illustrator CS2 • Photoshop CS2 • Quark Xpress for windows 5.0 3. All type must be converted to curves/outlines. 4. We are equipped with Mac-In-Dos 2.1 and can convert uncompressed versions of the above programs. All MAC files must be saved as EPS with ALL TYPE CONVERTED TO OUTLINES/CURVES. 5. Tiffs, Jpegs, Bitmaps and Gifs cannot be colour separated. 6. Please send a hard copy of the artwork with your P.O. 7. Clean black and white colour-separated camera ready art is also acceptable: - must be at least 600 dpi, it is best to provide the image at 150%-200% of the actual imprint size. 8. For halftone printing please supply tinted areas as a separate solid overlay and specify the desired percentage between 20%-60%. 9. For best results we strongly recommend against the use of halftones, fine lines and small type for screen-printing. 10. Prep-Art: Have your Jpeg, Tiff, Gif and Bitmap files recreated into vector based art for only $50(a).

All Glass and Ceramic products decorated by Precidio meet or exceed the Federal Legislation concerning lip and rim safety regulations as well as heavy metal ink content prohibitions. While limiting available imprint area and imprint colour range, these laws are enacted for all our protection and supported by Precidio. Ceramic inks are made of organic material. Colour offerings are constrained by increasingly stringent safety standards, requiring lead and cadmium content reduction and elimination. Any colour made with Rubine Red or Rhodamine Red is non-existent in ceramic printing. When selecting ceramic imprint colours, bear in mind that PMS numbers are a guide only, and are never exact due to the organic nature of ceramic inks. In addition the required process of firing ceramic inks changes the finished colour. We cannot guarantee PMS colour matches. Colour matches are to within one shade of the PMS number. Identical colour matches on repeat orders cannot be guaranteed. The PMS shades are based on printing on white ceramics; colours will appear differently on clear or dark coloured products. For our standard Glass and Ceramic ink colours refer to the chart. Special PMS colours: In addition to our standard colours we can mix approximately another 250 shades. An additional charge of $60(g) per colour applies for special ink colours and additional production time may be required. Please note exact colour matches cannot be guaranteed, colour matches are to within one shade of the PMS number requested.

For gold, platinum/silver or microwave gold imprints less than 1â&#x20AC;? square coverage add $0.44(a) per side in addition to the standard colour charge. For larger imprints contact your Account Exec. or Customer service for a quote. Precious metal inks are non-microwaveable, except for microwaveable gold. Microwaveable gold is not available for decaled items and is not as brilliant as Metallic gold.

Gold or Platinum Banding 1. 2.

Banding is available on selected glass and ceramic items. Please contact your Account Exec. or customer service for verification. Add $0.56 (a) per unit for banding.

Standards for Colour Registration 1. 2.

When printing multi-colour logos there is a possibility of misregistration amounting to approximately 1/16â&#x20AC;? in any direction, depending on the size and shape of the ware being decorated. These tolerances meet industry standards for colour registration and are considered acceptable.

For all drink and serve-ware, hand wash with mild detergent prior to first use. To reduce fading, and ensure longer imprint life on all products, it is advised that harsh detergents, abrasive chemicals, and commercial dishwashers be avoided. Hand washing with mild soap is recommended. Precidio does not guarantee colour fastness of imprints. To extend the product life of all acrylic products dishwashers should be avoided. Insulated tumblers with paper inserts are not dishwasher or microwave safe, please advise your customer accordingly.

Ware Quality 1. 2.

Due to manufacturing limitations in ceramics and glassware, minor imperfections and variances may occur: for example tiny pin holes, slight variances in the glaze of ceramic mugs. Glassware may have uneven weight distribution in the base, or small bumps on the top rim. These are considered acceptable as per industry standards and are not deemed cause for return.

Change of Copy: $35(g) per change, per colour (minimum/change is half the catalogue minimum quantity). Change of Imprint Colour: $35(g) per change (minimum the same as above). Drop/Split Shipments: $10(g) per address, labels required. Under Minimum Charge: $60(g), must be at least half the catalogue minimum quantity. Proofs: First paper proof is free, please provide fax # or e-mail address. Four colour process paper proofs $20(g). Merchandise proofs $55(g) per colour, this charge will be credited on orders over $1000(a) if the proof is approved as is. Personalization on Ceramic Mugs: minimum 36 pieces add $4.50 per unit plus a setup $45(g). Prep-Art: Have your Jpeg, Tiff, Gif and Bitmap files recreated into vector based art for only $50(a).

Co-op Pricing: Available on request please contact your Account Exec. Over-runs and Under-runs: We reserve the right to incur a 5% variance in either direction and will bill according the quantity shipped. Order Quantity Requirements: All glass and ceramic products must be ordered in full case lots. Cancellation Charge: Orders cannot be cancelled without our approval, and must be cancelled in writing. Costs incurred to the date of cancellation will be invoiced, with a minimum charge of $50(g) per item. Returns: Returns will not be accepted without a return authorization number. Notification must be made within 45 days of invoice date. Shipping: Title to the goods passes to the buyer upon release to the carrier. Claims for breakage and delays in transit must be filed with the carrier with in 14 days of receipt of merchandise. Note: Protective packaging is now included on all ceramic and glass mugs at no extra charge. Decal Decoration on Glass and Ceramic: Premium charge for multiple locations eg. Handles, in/outboard.
