Perlage: The Champagne of Waters

Over 250 years ago, the Małachowski family built its iconic Małachowski Palace and the Nałęczów Health Resort and Spa in eastern Poland. The region is famed for its natural aquifers, whose waters have a 400-year-old water age, meaning their last contact with the external environment was in the 17th century. 

The Nałęczów Health Resort and Spa is famous for treating cardiovascular problems and hypertension using the natural mineral water, considered therapeutic due to its unique mineralization process and low sodium levels. Once extracted, the water undergoes a specialized bottling process that safeguards the highest quality of standards and original purity.

Today, the producer of Perlage, known as Nałęczów Zdrój (Zdrój is Polish for “spa”), has expanded its philosophy of health to growing its own produce and vineyards on the property, which are served exclusively at its Water & Wine Restaurant. There is a common misperception that natural mineral waters are colourless, tasteless and flavourless.
