Two of America’s most iconic roads meet at the confluence of three of the country’s amazing rivers, providing an amazing backdrop to the Great Rivers and Routes region of southwest Illinois. FACILITY SPOTLIGHT

Plummer Family Park (Edwardsville) Baseball, softball, soccer, football

Plummer Family Park is an 83-acre complex featuring four lighted, full synthetic 12U baseball/softball fields and two batting cages. There are also six full-size multi-sport fields. Three have a fully synthetic playing surface with lights ideal for soccer, football, rugby, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee and more. The complex includes 12 lighted pickleball courts with sun shades perfect for your next outdoor tournament.

Mississippi Riverfront (Alton & Grafton) Fishing tournaments, boat races

Great Rivers is in our name for a reason. At the confluence of the Illinois, Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, you will find one of the most unique waterways in the world. 100+ pound catfish are routinely pulled from the waters of this region where bass thrive alongside crappie, walleye, and sauger. Various marinas and boat ramps allow access to our rivers and lakes for fishing

tournaments, boat shows, racing, triathlons, and more.

Gateway Convention Center (Collinsville) Wrestling, boxing, dance, gymnastics, cornhole

Host your tournament in this versatile space complete with meeting and hospitality rooms all under one roof. From elaborate room layouts to vendor exhibits, the space is adaptable to the needs of any event planner. Gateway Convention Center has up to 50,000 square feet of event space and has extensive experience hosting cheer and dance events, boxing tournaments, fishing shows and much more.

The SIUE campus is home to an array of venues including synthetic turf and grass diamonds and multi-purpose fields, a championship cross country course, and the 4,000 seat Vadalabene Center.

Golf Courses Spencer T. Olin and Gateway National Golf Links Golf

Spencer T. Olin and Gateway National Golf Links are just two of 20 public and private courses in the region. As the only Arnold Palmer designed facility in the area, Spencer T. Olin features scenic views that are the centerpiece of an 18 hole championship course with an additional 9-hole Learning Center.
