But beyond the waves and the wine, the region packs a serious punch in natural diversity. Ancient caves, old growth karri and marri forests and inland river systems make camping expeditions truly rewarding if you’re chasing adventures off the beaten track. Photographer Zac White spent a few days at Margaret River Retreat, connecting with nature and capturing some shots. His images reflect the gracious moments and simple pleasures of a camping holiday in the south west.
