an office When designing office space, we must take into account factors such as a comfortable layout to facilitate better performance, the creation of well-defined spaces avoiding accessories that weigh them down, and straightforward lines. But most of all, the interior design project must revolve around the user and tasks they carry out during the workday. In addition to ergonomics, the project must also contemplate efficiency and economy for the company. Functionality, comfort, aesthetics and ergonomics combine to obtain an optimum result. These are the keys to choose office furniture correctly. NEW TRENDS FOR NEW SPACES None of these details escapes current trends in style, although in the office, trends are always second to the company purpose and business needs. Therefore, todayâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s key to furnishing and decorating offices is found by creating integral systems based on group work, group input, integrating new technologies and developing efficient storage systems. For these reasons, the current trend in modern office comes to generating large open spaces to ensure the independence of the tasks but both have private use of areas in which to make phone calls, hold informal agile meetings, isolated to perform tasks requiring a high degree of concentration or create spaces for relaxatopm in a more distended atmosphere. For these needs, bench type solutions favoring the most operational areas while soft seating programs and microarchitectural elements such as modular panels favor the generation of more private settings. In addition, most workstations of this type have the advan-

tage on being able to create living spaces and include new stations as necessary, thanks to structures designed for unlimited growth. Tasks carried out in contact with the public are extremely important since they reflect the companyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s image and savoirfaire. All current furnishings lines include furniture designed for this purpose, with the central goal of creating warm, extrovert and organised spaces. Wide tabletop space, built-in single and double drawer units for workstations and functional but invisible electrical access are the main characteristics currently found in these workstations. Lastly, in executive offices, trendy design is marked by straight, neat and elegant lines. Quality materials such as wood or steel are always in style. Little by little, new components are also being included to provide more functions, such as top access, credenzas and meeting tables; all of these were traditionally installed in workstations, and they are now reaching executive offices with subtle and refined aesthetic touches. In general, the current trend can be described as functional and dynamic, striving to integrate the dichotomies between individualism and plurality, and central and peripheral organisation. Cold colours (except in management spaces), simple lines and reconfigurable, modular systems are the most commonly used strategies for creating office spaces that work well over time and are effective for day-to-day tasks.

TASK FURNITURE

Set-ups with cabinets are distinctive because the tabletops rest on the low cabinet; in addition to providing support, this component acts as the centre of the system. Based on this cabinet, and thanks to the different accessories offered by the series, we can set up multiple work stations. The higher central cabinet could be used to form the configuration with the most storage area out of all the set-ups in the series.

The system has a range of accessories that can be adapted to the tabletops and which allow for personalisation of each workstation as needed: light fixtures, screens, top access, etc...
