WATSON

LAKE

"What is better than having a class overlooking the crystal water of Watson Lake? Faculty often take students for an outdoor classroom experience and students enjoy rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, and even taking visiting family and friends to see the beauty of Watson. All the climbing classes I have taken through Prescott College have incorporated climbing at Watson Lake and it has made my experience so fulfilling."

Interdisciplinary Studies

"Prescott College’s experiential learning opportunities have changed my life. From studying water politics while canoeing on the Colorado River, to traveling to rural Kenya to learn about history and culture, at Prescott you’re surrounded by people who have also sought out something different, and they quickly become friends for life."

"I am enrolled as a double major with two emphases–Adventure Education with an emphasis in Wilderness Leadership, and Psychology with an emphasis in Arts Therapy--I could not find something exactly like it offered at any other college in the United States."

International Student Enviromental Studies

"As an international student, I opted for PC due to its interdisciplinary approach, which equips me with the skills to tackle global challenges effectively. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to develop and implement my own projects, further enhancing my practical experience in the field."

The Village

The Village is Prescott College’s main residential community. Thirteen suites are present between three buildings, all within a gated community. Each suite captures an open concept full kitchen, living room, and a study room. Five bedrooms with varying configurations are present, catering to eight individuals in total. Included within the residential lodging rate are the laundry and residential parking fees. Both amenities are adjacent to The Village community. The outdoor space is highlighted by pergolas covered with greenery. You will often encounter students in hammocks, around the outdoor fireplace in the central courtyard, or admiring the ample amounts of accessible fruit trees and vegetation.
